Chris Tsai from careinnovators moderated our panel on March 25th and Sarai Tsai wrote a blog about the event. Her comments are below:
Personalized medicine is coming on strong and offers growth and opportunities for both companies and individuals entering the field. careinnovators co-founder Chris Tsai recently moderated a panel on personalized medicine organized by Propel Careers and hosted by Cooley Godward Kronish LLP.
Panelists were Daniel W. Paterson, On-q-ity; Harry Glorikian, Scientia Advisors; Corey Braastad, Athena Diagnostics; and Thomas Neyarapally, Gene Network Sciences. Interestingly, most of the panelists did not begin their careers focused on executive positions or personalized medicine. Instead they began in academic, laboratory or sales positions. Through hard work and recognition of opportunities, they advanced their careers and learned valuable lessons that they shared with the audience of fifty people.
